# Sales Challenges

Challenges are time-limited competitions created by managers or administrators to drive specific sales behaviors. They add an extra layer of motivation on top of the regular ranking system.

## How Challenges Work

A challenge defines:

* **Goal** — What participants need to achieve (e.g., close 5 deals, generate \$50K revenue)
* **Duration** — Start and end date
* **Participants** — Who is eligible (individual reps, specific teams, or everyone)
* **Reward** — Bonus points, badges, or other recognition for winners
* **Metric** — How progress is measured

## Active Challenges

Navigate to the **Challenges** section in the sidebar to see:

* **Active Challenges** — Currently running challenges you can participate in
* **Upcoming** — Challenges scheduled to start soon
* **Completed** — Past challenges with final results

### Challenge Card

Each active challenge displays:

* Challenge name and description
* Time remaining (countdown)
* Your current progress vs the goal
* Leaderboard of top participants
* Prize or reward information
